That is having the ballscrew supported at one end and the nut. The ball nut would have to be installed on the far side of the cross slide rather than under it. There is not enough room to fit the nut under the cross slide. Adding a third support at the far end would require a longer ballscrew and an outrigger. Something I would prefer to avoid.
